Logo Testing - How to Submit Products for Testing

Follow the steps below in order to submit your software application for testing:

1. Review the "Designed for Windows XP" Software Reguirements and make sure your software application meets the requirements.
2. Fill out our online Test Registration Form.

3. Select the Logo Option you wish TelSoft to perform testing for.

   There are 8 Logo Options available for the "Designed for Windows XP" Logo Program. You can also have your software application tested for the "Designed for Windows XP - Optimized" status. If you wish to have your application tested for the "Designed for Windows XP - Optimized" status, you can choose that option on the Test Registration Form.

4. Assemble your test package and send it to us at:

   Your test package should include:

   • The test fee (See the Pricing page for the fee of your test). All fees must be paid in advance. Please make checks payable to TelSoft, Inc.
   • A release candidate of your software application with all necessary hardware, components and any available documentation. If your application will ever be distributed on CD ROM and/or DVD, you must send in your software application on this media.

After your test package has been received, TelSoft will send a confirmation e-mail to the Primary Contact named on the Test Registration Form. The e-mail will include the scheduled test date and the estimated completion date for testing.

TelSoft will thoroughly test your software application to ensure that it meets the requirements for the Logo Option you selected in the Test Registration Form. Test Results will be sent to the Primary Contact as soon as testing is completed. If your application passes, you will be ready to submit your product and product information to Microsoft's online Qualification service.

If your product does not pass, you will receive detailed information on each "fail" result that you received.
